FACTBOX-Military deaths in Afghanistan

Oct 27 (Reuters) - Eight U.S. troops were killed in bomb attacks in southern Afghanistan on Tuesday ahead of a run-off presidential election, the NATO-led alliance said, the deadliest month for U.S. troops since the war started eight years ago.

Here are figures for foreign military deaths as a result of violence or accidents in Afghanistan since the U.S.-led invasion in 2001:
