Hungary OTP sells 2 mln shares, has buyback option

BUDAPEST, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Hungary's OTP Bank OTPB.BU sold 2 million of its own shares over the counter at 6,877 forints ($43.43) per share, the bank said on Wednesday.

OTP said it had a call option on the 2 million shares it sold for the Oct. 27 to Nov. 13 period.

After the transaction, OTP had 4.02 million treasury shares.
