The company said in a statement the interim dividend would be paid from 27 November 2008. Based on the number of shares currently outstanding, the interim dividend for 2008 amounts to a total of approximately 191 million euros, it said.

In a separate statement, Atlantia said its board had agreed to update and renew its bond issue programme of up to 10 billion euros until 2014, of which 6.5 billion euors has already been issued.

It also said the board had authorised the issue of non-convertible bonds of up to 750 million euros, if necessary in several transactions and with different maturity terms, between 18 months and 5 years.

The issues will take place by December 2009, "as market conditions permit", it said.
