Edison plans 500 mln euro bond next week-sources

MILAN, July 9 (Reuters) - Italian utility Edison SpA (EDN.MI) plans to launch a 500 million euro ($696 million) senior bond with a duration of five to seven years next week, banking sources close to the operation said on Thursday.

"It'll be for five or seven years, more likely five," one of the sources said on condition of anonymity.
