Rage guitarist Morello releasing 2nd solo album

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello will release his second solo album on September 30.

"The Fabled City" (Epic) is the follow-up to 2007's "One Man Revolution," which Morello released under the name The Nightwatchman. He is now billed at Tom Morello: The Nightwatchman.

The 11-song set features guest appearances by country rocker Shooter Jennings and System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian, Morello's partner in the activist organization Axis of Justice. It was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who previously worked on "One Man Revolution" as well as a few Rage albums.

Beforehand, Morello is playing a handful of festival dates with Rage Against The Machine, including an August 2 slot at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
