Toyota U.S. sales down 4.5 percent

DETROIT (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Co (7203.T) on Thursday reported a 4.5 percent fall in April U.S. auto sales to 217,700 vehicles after adjusting for two more selling days in the month compared with the same month a year earlier.

Stocks

Toyota said its Toyota-brand sales were down 2.7 percent. Sales for its luxury Lexus brand fell 17.1 percent.

April had 26 selling days compared with 24 a year earlier.
