The filing made with the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality, said the work, which began on Saturday, could last until Dec. 17.

Trade sources said Unit 820 is the catalytic hydrotreater and rates to the fluid catalytic cracking unit were reduced slightly.

A refinery spokeswoman said she was unable to comment on routine maintenance. According to government data, the unit has 33,300 bpd capacity. (Reporting by Janet McGurty; Editing by John Picinich)
