Credit Suisse (NY branch) sells $4 bln 5-yr notes

NEW YORK, May 1 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse (New York Branch), part of Credit Suisse Group (CSGN.VX), on Thursday sold $4 billion of five-year medium-term notes, said a market source familiar with the sale.

The 5.00 percent notes were priced at 99.779 to yield 5.05 percent, or 2.00 percentage points over U.S. Treasuries.

The sole lead manager on the sale was Credit Suisse. (Reporting by Caryn Trokie; Editing by Leslie Adler)
