LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Nickelodeon had good reason to celebrate after the Kids' Choice Awards.

The ceremony, which aired Saturday from UCLA's Pauley Pavilion in Westwood, was the most-watched telecast in the event's 20-year history, averaging more than 6.1 million total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. That represents a 3% increase from last year's telecast.

The 2007 Kids' Choice Awards also set records with kids 2-11 (3.4 million), kids 6-11 (2.8 million) and tweens 9-14 (2.6 million).

Nickelodeon noted that the awards show, hosted by Justin Timberlake, set records despite competition from the NCAA Men's Final Four coverage on CBS.

In addition, more kids than ever before voted on the awards this year, with 40.8 million votes being cast on Nick.com, Nicktropolis, TurboNick and Nick Mobile, up 54% from last year. The KCA telecast also gave Nick.com its highest traffic day ever, with 1.6 million unique visitors and more than 25.5 million page views.
