Putnam, a unit of Canada's Great-West Lifeco Inc (GWO.TO), said in a statement it had hired Clare Richer as senior managing director and chief financial officer (CFO) and Andra Bolotin as managing director and controller.

Richer spent 25 years at Fidelity, including as CFO for two years until 2007, Putnam said in a statement. Bolotin was most recently CFO of Fidelity HR Services, Putnam added.

Putnam has hired a number of executives and professionals from its Boston neighbor Fidelity since Robert Reynolds, a former Fidelity vice chairman, took over as Putnam's chief executive in July. (Reporting by Muralikumar Anantharaman)
