MEXICO CITY, May 2 (Reuters) - Mexican broadcaster Televisa (TV.N) (TLVACPO.MX) said on Wednesday it issued 4.5 billion pesos ($412 million) in senior notes maturing in 2037 with a coupon of 8.49 percent.

Televisa said in a statement it would put the money raised through the issues to uses including possible share buybacks and recuperating its cash position following a recent pay out on maturing paper.

Grupo Televisa recently posted a surprise 46 percent fall in first-quarter earnings, hurt by a one-time charge from the sale of its stake in U.S. partner Univision, losses in affiliates and higher taxes.
