American Air flight prepares for emergency landing

CHICAGO, Sept 2 (Reuters) - AMR Corp's(AMR.N) American Airlines on Tuesday said one of its planes was circling to burn fuel before attempting to land at Los Angeles International Airport after a tire was damaged.

Flight 1586 from Los Angeles to Toronto blew a left inboard main landing gear tire, the company said. The Boeing 737 was carrying 130 passengers and five crew members. (Reporting by Kyle Peterson, editing by Leslie Gevirtz)
