N.J. OKs Exelon Oyster Creek reactor coastal plan

NEW YORK, Jan 3 (Reuters) - The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection on Thursday determined Exelon Corp's (EXC.N) coastal management plan for the Oyster Creek nuclear power reactor was consistent with the state plan, a spokeswoman for the plant said.

The decision by the state DEP was the last step needed before the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission could decide whether to relicense the reactor for another 20 years. (Reporting by Scott DiSavino)
