Valero Corpus Christi HCU undergoes repair -filing

HOUSTON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N) reported flaring due to unplanned repairs on a hydrocracking unit in the west plant of its 340,000 barrel per day Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery, according to a regulatory filing posted Wednesday with Texas regulators.

According to the notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the unplanned repairs began Monday night on the hydrocracker and could last through Dec. 8.

A Valero representative was not immediately available to discuss refinery operations. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
