FACTBOX: Forecasts for 2008 Atlantic hurricane season
(Reuters) - Forecasters are predicting that the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season, which began June 1 and ends November 30, will be more active than usual.
The noted Colorado State University research team issued a forecast on Tuesday for 15 tropical storms and eight hurricanes, unchanged from its April prediction.

Its forecast is based on solar cycles. The UK Met Office is scheduled to issue a forecast on June 18.
