MONTERREY, Mexico, March 3 (Reuters) - Mexico's Arca, the country's second-biggest Coke bottler, said on Monday it will buy a franchise from the Coca-Cola Co (KO.N) in Argentina, in its first international foray.

No financial terms were disclosed in the deal, which will give Arca (ARCA.MX) sales in provinces in the center and northwest Argentina, serving a population of around 5 million people.

Arca, which has 14 bottling plants, had planned $170 million in capital spending this year. It is Mexico's next largest Coke bottler after Femsa (FMSAUBD.MX)(FMX.N), the second-largest in the world and the biggest in Latin America. (Reporting by Gabriela Lopez, editing by Maureen Bavdek)
