Nike CEO Parker earns $1.25 million salary in 2007

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Nike Inc (NKE.N) Chief Executive Mark Parker earned $1.25 million in salary in fiscal 2007, according to a filing, his first full fiscal year as head of the global athletic shoe company.

Parker, who was named CEO early last year, also received more than $2.1 million through the company's incentive plan, as well as profit-sharing contributions and perks totaling less than $200,000, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.

During fiscal 2007, Parker also exercised $7.38 million in option awards and vested $1.2 million in stock awards.

For fiscal 2006, Parker was paid a salary of $1.14 million, received a bonus of $1.29 million and received more than $2 million in restricted stock awards and other compensation.

Before becoming CEO, Parker served as co-president of the Nike brand.
