NEW YORK, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Warnaco Group Inc (WRC.N) posted higher quarterly profit on Wednesday, helped by its international expansion of the Calvin Klein brand and tight inventory management.

The apparel maker, whose owned and licensed brands include Calvin Klein, Speedo and Olga, said third-quarter net income was $29.7 million, or 63 cents per share, compared to $26.5 million, or 56 cents per share, a year earlier.

Income from continuing operations was 66 cents per share, while adjusted income from continuing operations was 75 cents per share.

Net revenue was $520.9 million, down 5 percent from a year earlier. (Reporting by Martinne Geller; Editing by Derek Caney)
