Ike remains a Category 4 hurricane in Atlantic

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Hurricane Ike weakened a little as it moved west by northwest in the Central Atlantic Ocean toward the Bahamas but remained a dangerous Category 4 hurricane with winds near 140 miles per hour, the National Hurricane Center said Thursday.
