Navistar gets $752 mln US armored vehicle order

WASHINGTON, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Navistar Defense LLC, a unit of Navistar International Corp (NAV.N), has won a $752 million order for work on mine-resistant, ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles, the Pentagon said on Thursday.

The work, under a previously awarded U.S. Navy contract, is for Category 1 vehicles with upgrades for enhanced maneuverability, said the Pentagon's daily listing of contracts. (Reporting by Jim Wolf; Editing by Tim Dobbyn)
