LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Seth Rogen is readying his walkie-talkie for "Observe and Report," a comedy about a deluded, self-important mall security guard who squares off in a turf war against the local cops.

The project comes from writer/director Jody Hill (no relation to Rogen sidekick Jonah Hill), who pitched it to Warner Bros. two years ago.

Rogen, recently in theaters with "Knocked Up," reprises his familiar slacker role in the upcoming comedy "Pineapple Express," which he co-wrote.
