UPDATE 1-Enbridge unit prices C$500 mln in notes-term sheet

TORONTO, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Enbridge Pipelines Inc, a unit of Enbridge Inc (ENB.TO), priced C$500 million ($472 million) in medium term notes on Thursday, according to a term sheet seen by Reuters.

The term sheet said the pipeline operator priced a C$300 million, 4.49 pct note due Nov. 12, 2019 at C$99.92 to yield 4.5 percent, 97 basis points over the Canadian government benchmark.

It said it also priced a C$200 million, 5.35 percent note due Nov. 10, 2039 at C$99.911 to yield 5.356 percent, 132 basis points over the government benchmark.

The underwriting syndicate included the investment dealer arms of Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS.TO), Royal Bank of Canada (RY.TO), Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD.TO), Bank of Montreal (BMO.TO), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM.TO), National Bank of Canada (NA.TO) and HSBC (HSBA.L).
