Peru says May copper and gold output up, zinc down

 LIMA, July 6 (Reuters) - Peru, a leading global metals producer, saw
its copper, gold and silver outputs rise in May from the same month a year
ago, while zinc production fell, the mining ministry said Monday.
 Output figures are as follows:
 METAL      MAY OUTPUT                CHANGE FROM MAY 2008
 Copper     108,077 tonnes            0.14 pct
 Zinc       122,432 tonnes           -8.59 pct
 Gold       15,607,879 fine grams     5.77 pct
 Silver     325,060 fine kg           4.60 pct
