Valero reports flaring at L.A.-area refinery-filing

HOUSTON, June 6 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp's (VLO.N) 135,000 barrel per day (bpd) Los Angeles-market refinery in Wilmington, California, reported flaring due to an equipment breakdown on Friday afternoon, according to a notice filed local air pollution regulators.

The unit or units sustaining the breakdown were not listed in the notice filed with South Coast Air Quality Management District. The filing said the flaring could continue through Saturday afternoon. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Andre Grenon)
