Film

Billed as a poignant, life-affirming drama, the film marks the directorial debut of Oren Moverman, who co-wrote the unorthodox Bob Dylan biopic "I'm Not There" with Todd Haynes. Moverman's co-writer on "The Messenger" is first-time scriptwriter Alessandro Camon.
