Pelosi says US House "will pass healthcare reform"

WASHINGTON, Nov 7 (Reuters) - U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Saturday the House was prepared to approve a sweeping healthcare overhaul that would extend insurance coverage to millions of the uninsured.

"We will pass healthcare reform," Pelosi said after President Barack Obama met with Democratic House members on Capitol Hill ahead of what could be a close vote later on Saturday.
