FOREX-Euro falls as Trichet says high inflation temporary

NEW YORK, May 8 (Reuters) - The euro extended losses against the dollar on Thursday after European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet said current high inflation in the euro zone remains temporary. [For more details ID:nFAT004155].
