Hollywood pair killed by alleged drunk driver

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Two young production executives were killed instantly when their car was hit by an alleged drunk driver in Hollywood Saturday.

Rhiannon Meier, 28, was a vice-president at Sony-based Red Wagon Prods. Sam Cassel, also 28, was a vice-president at Scott Rudin Prods.

Jose Luis Vargas, 31, allegedly ran a red light on Sunset Boulevard and crashed into the pair's car. Vargas, who suffered only minor injuries, was booked on suspicion of murder and driving under the influence.
