IMM speculators trim short US dollar positions-CFTC

 NEW YORK, Jan 9 (Reuters) - Currency speculators trimmed
their short U.S. dollar positions in the latest week, according
to data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission on
Friday.
 The value of the U.S. dollar's net short position was
around $770 million in the week ending Jan. 6, from a net short
position of $942 million the previous week.
 The aggregate U.S. dollar position is derived from the net
positions of International Monetary Market speculators in the
yen, euro, British pound, Swiss franc, Canadian and Australian
dollars.
