Sean Combs splits with longtime girlfriend

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Rap music impresario Sean "Diddy" Combs and his longtime girlfriend, Kim Porter, with whom he has three children, have broken off their relationship, Combs' representative said on Tuesday.
Combs, 37, and Porter, a former model, had been together for roughly 10 years, and in December Porter gave birth to their twin daughters, D'Lila Star and Jessie James. The pair also have a son named Christian.
Several years ago, the couple broke up when Combs was dating actress-singer Jennifer Lopez, but when that ended, he and Porter resumed their relationship.
The reason for their current separation was not disclosed, and neither Combs nor Porter issued a statement.
Combs gained celebrity in the 1990s as a producer of rap musicians and singers. He later released albums of his own music and became a business executive with different interests. He runs Bad Boy Entertainment, is a restaurateur and has a clothing line called Sean John.
