July 10 (Reuters) - The following financial services industry appointments were announced on Thursday. To inform us of other job changes, please e-mail moves@thomsonreuters.com.

WESTWOOD TRUST

Westwood Trust, a subsidiary of investment management firm Westwood Holdings Group, Inc (WHG.N) announced Dick Frazar will be its senior vice president on its private wealth management team. Most recently, he was senior vice president, private banking at Colonial Bank, in Dallas.

NATIONWIDE HEALTH PROPERTIES INC (NHP.N)

The real estate investment trust on Thursday announced Roger E. Laty has joined the company as its vice president, tax. Previously, he had served as Vice President, Taxes for Kilroy Realty Corporation since 2001.

CREDIT SUISSE

The bank on Thursday announced the immediate appointment of Jeremy Hippolite as director and product specialist in Asset Management in its Multi-Asset Class Solutions Business. Previously, Hippolite was a senior specialist private banking at Coutts & Co.

JEFFERIES (JEF.N)

The investment bank has hired John Fargis as a managing director to head its U.S. media investment banking practice. Prior to this appointment, Fargis worked at Bear Stearns, most recently as a senior managing director in its media investment banking group.

STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (STAN.L)

The British bank announced the following appointments at its Chinese operation.

Duan Yang as managing director, fixed income sales, overseeing a newly assembled team. He was formerly with Bear Stearns where he was its head of derivative sales.

Liu Xi has joined the bank as managing director, fixed income sales. He spent the last 14 years with BNP Paribas.

Zhang Hao has joined the bank as managing director, fixed income sales. He joins from Bear Stearns where he covered China derivative sales activities.

DEUTSCHE BANK AG (DBKGn.DE)

The German bank announced the appointment of Connor Kelly as head of FX emerging markets options CEEMA and LatAM. Kelly will be based in London.

Kelly joins Deutsche Bank after four years at Goldman Sachs where, most recently, he was responsible for running euro FX options business.

RBC CAPITAL MARKETS

The investment banking arm of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.N) announced the appointment of Andrea Ronchiato as head of Italian Credit Distribution. He joins from RBC Capital Markets from ABN Amro where he was head of credit and alternative solution sales to Italy.

RAB CAPITAL PLC (RAB.L)

London-listed RAB Capital Plc announced the appointment of Jeff Fisher as executive officer at its Hong Kong-based subsidiary RAB Capital (Asia) Limited.

He was most recently the regional head of capital introduction and hedge fund consulting for Citi Prime Brokerage.

EUROCLEAR

The largest securities settlement firm in Europe has made the following changes to its senior management.

Effective 1 September, Tim May, currently chief executive officer of Euroclear UK & Ireland (EUI), will become chairman of EUI, while remaining as executive director of Euroclear SA/NV at group level and chairman of EMXCo. Euroclear recently acquired EMXCo.

Yannic Weber, managing director and head of the commercial division at Euroclear SA/NV, will become chief executive officer of EUI.

Pierre Yves Goemans, managing director and head of product management at Euroclear SA/NV, will become head of the commercial division, replacing Yannic Weber.

Jo Van de Velde, director and head of transaction processing operations for Euroclear Bank, will replace Pierre Yves Goemans as head of the product management division and will be promoted to managing director and a member of the group management team.

Joining Euroclear SA/NV from A.T. Kearney on August 18, Thierry Faut will become managing director and head of the corporate strategy and public affairs division and a member of the group management team. (Compiled by Phil Wahba in New York, and Kuganandhan Paramanandan in Bangalore)
