NEW YORK, Nov 10 (Reuters) - TransCanada's (TRP.TO) ANR gas pipeline system in the Gulf of Mexico was experiencing a loss of about 30 million cubic feet of supply on Tuesday due to Tropical Storm Ida, but volumes were expected to return to normal on Wednesday, a company spokesman said.

The loss in supply, which carried over from Monday, is mainly from producers cutting back production in deep water areas.

As part of its hurricane response plan, ANR removed all personnel from its five platforms in the Gulf on Sunday. It was not yet clear when workers would return. (Reporting by Edward McAllister)
