(Reuters) - Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will be appealing to a demographic mosaic of Pennsylvania voters in the Tuesday primary election showdown for the party's presidential nomination.
Following data include an age breakdown of state Democrats from the Pennsylvania Department of State and a profile of education, gender and racial characteristics of the general population, courtesy of the U.S. Census Bureau:
* Pennsylvania's 4,198,663 registered Democrats make up about 50 percent of a total state electorate of 8,326,564, according to official statistics.
