EDP's Brazil unit to price stock offering Nov. 24

SAO PAULO, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Energias do Brasil (ENBR3.SA), the Brazilian unit of Portuguese utility EDP (EDP.LS), said on Thursday the pricing of an offer of 14.1 million shares will take place on Nov. 24, about a week later than initially stated.

In a statement published on a local newspaper, Energias do Brasil said it expects the shares to start trading in Sao Paulo on Nov. 26. It hired Banco Bradesco (BBDC4.SA), Citigroup (C.N) and BES Investimentos to advise on the deal.

The company had said on Oct. 29 that it planned to price the shares between Nov. 12 and Nov. 17. No details on a possible price range were disclosed. (Reporting by Guillermo Parra-Bernal)
