US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St turns higher on tech shares, Intel

NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - The Dow and S&P 500 indexes turned positive in early trading on Thursday, led by gains in technology stocks, erasing losses shortly after the open.

* The Nasdaq added gains as shares of Intel Corp (INTC.O) and Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD.N) rose after the chip makers said they have settled all outstanding legal disputes, including antitrust litigation and patent-licensing issues. For details see [ID:nN12410647].

* The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI was up 15.79 points, or 0.15 percent, at 10,307.05. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX was up 2.42 points, or 0.22 percent, at 1,100.93.
