Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt to star in "Heaven"

LONDON (Hollywood Reporter) - Two of Northern Ireland's most famous faces, Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt, are starring in Oliver Hirschbiegel's latest directorial outing, "Five Minutes of Heaven."

"Heaven" revolves around two men whose lives have been devastated by the violent conflict that rocked Northern Ireland from the 1960s through the beginning of the peace process in 1998.

The actors are no strangers to big-screen tales concerning the political struggle in Ireland and Northern Ireland, with Neeson starring as the titular character in 1996's "Michael Collins" and Nesbitt taking the lead in Paul Greengrass' 2002 film "Bloody Sunday."

The drama, penned by Guy Hibbert, focuses on how the duo struggle to come to terms with the aftereffects of the conflict that raged between Republican and Loyalist paramilitary groups, the British Army and the Royal Ulster Constabulary.
