NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Time Warner Inc (TWX.N) subsidiary AOL said on Thursday that it expects to take $200 million in restructuring charges after its planned spin-off from Time Warner.

AOL said it would incur substantially all of the charges from the date of the spin-off, due to take place in the current quarter, and through the first half of 2010.

AOL said the charges relate to "additional restructuring activities" but did not elaborate further in a filing made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. (Reporting by Sinead Carew, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
