Venezuela quake at 7.0 magnitude - USGS

WASHINGTON, Sept 12 (Reuters) - The U.S. Geological Survey reported on Saturday a 7.0 magnitude off the coast of Venezuela which Reuters witnesses said was felt in the capital, Caracas.

The quake occurred at about 3:47 p.m. local time (2006 GMT) approximately 20 miles (33 km) northeast of Puerto Cabello, Venezuela, at a depth of 20.5 miles (33 km).
