CombiMatrix files $100 mln common stock shelf offer

WASHINGTON, Aug 12 (Reuters) - CombiMatrix Corp (CBMX.O), a biotechnology company, may periodically sell up to $100 million in common stock, according to a filing made on Tuesday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Under a shelf registration, a company may sell securities in one or more separate offerings with the size, price and terms to be determined at the time of sale.
