NEW YORK (Billboard) - My Chemical Romance's tour in support of its 2006 album "The Black Parade" forms the basis of "The Black Parade Is Dead!," a CD/DVD package due June 24.

The project was filmed October 7, 2007, at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes, and October 24, 2007, at the tiny Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey. The CD portion of the Warner Bros. release sports 13 tracks, a track list it shares with disc one of the DVD, taped in Mexico City. The second DVD disc boasts 18 songs from the Hoboken show.

In addition, "The Black Parade Is Dead!" can be purchased in a limited-edition package housed in a pinewood coffin box, featuring a hand-painted Day of the Dead mask created by a band member and an autographed, numbered "Death Certificate of Authenticity."

"These shows were some of the most memorable and fun we've ever had onstage," bassist Mikey Way says. "The kids at the Mexico City show actually overpowered the PA, and their voices were deafening. The Maxwell's show was complete pandemonium, and the video captures the feeling of and old-school MCR show, the way it was way back when."

Fans who pre-order from My Chemical Romance's Web site (here) receive immediate access to audio downloads of the tracks "Welcome to the Black Parade," "Mama" and "Dead!"

My Chemical Romance wrapped its latest run of shows May 9 at New York's Madison Square Garden.
