US auto rescue would include govt equity- Chrysler
PALM DESERT, Calif., Nov 13 (Reuters) - Chrysler Chief Executive Bob Nardelli said on Thursday that he expects any U.S. government bailout of the U.S. automakers to include a government equity stake in the companies.
Nardelli also said a portion of the $25 billion of low-interest loans already approved for automakers to make capital expenditures toward improving fuel economy should be allowed to fund a shared development center. (Reporting by Kevin Krolicki)
