Bush to meet top markets advisers on Tuesday

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush will meet on Tuesday with his Working Group on Financial Markets for a briefing on market conditions, the White House said on Monday, amid a major shakeup on Wall Street.

But a senior administration official said "we do not expect any announcements" to come from the meeting, which will take place on Tuesday afternoon when Bush returns to the White House after surveying damage from Hurricane Ike in Texas.
