NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Vivica A. Fox has signed to star in and produce "Three Can Play That Game," a sequel to her 2001 comedy "Two Can Play That Game."

Fox will reprise the role of Shante Smith, a relationship expert who uses her knowledge of the male psyche to help women get what they want.

Sony Pictures will release the feature as a straight-to-DVD title, though a theatrical release is possible, according to a spokesman. The original $6 million "Game" earned $22.2 million at the box office.

Fox will appear in the upcoming film "Cover," an indie drama centering on a woman in a black family struggling with AIDS and faith issues. Her other credits include the two "Kill Bill" movies, Fox's "Soul Food" and the Lifetime series

"1-800-MISSING."
