LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC has found its dream man. "Battlestar Galactica" co-star Michael Trucco will play the lead in "The Man of Your Dreams," a comedy about a womanizer who uses his expertise to help romantically challenged women.

The plan is for "Dreams" to begin production as soon as the writers strike ends, although there seems to be no resolution in sight. The production of multicamera comedies is writer-intensive, with scribes heavily involved at every stage. That prompted most sitcoms to go dark immediately after the strike began on November 5, and makes filming of a pilot without the writer on board virtually impossible.

In the meantime, Trucco continues work on the final season of "Galactica," which is set to premiere in April.
