"Real Housewives" goes Big Apple

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Bravo has ordered a New York-set spinoff of "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

The new series, titled "The Real Housewives of New York City," will follow an "elite and powerful" group of New York socialites as they balance their work and home lives with busy calendars packed with charity fund-raising galas, social events and interviews for elite private schools.

The series is set to premiere on March 4.
