Haylie Duff crazy about indie movie

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Haylie Duff, the elder sister of pop star Hilary Duff, is in negotiations to play a psycho ex-girlfriend in the indie film "Tug."

Set in small-town Michigan, "Tug" centers on a guy (Sam Huntington) whose life begins to unravel when he is torn between staying with his current girlfriend or going back to his former one.

Production will begin in June. Abram Makowka will direct from his own script. Duff is perhaps best known for playing the pregnant recurring character Sandy Jameson in the TV drama "7th Heaven."
