Canada court to issue BCE judgement on Friday

OTTAWA, June 19 (Reuters) - The Supreme Court of Canada will announce at 4:30 p.m. (2030 GMT) on Friday whether it has decided to approve the C$34.8 billion ($34.5 billion) leveraged buyout of the country's largest telecommunications company, BCE Inc (BCE.TO)(BCE.N).

The court made the announcement in a statement on Thursday that gave no further details.

BCE is appealing a lower court decision that found that the the buyout plan -- which will be funded partly by taking on new debt -- did not adequately take into account the interests of existing bondholders.
