Southern Copper says strike cuts Peru mine output
LIMA, June 18 (Reuters) - A labor strike is "greatly affecting" output at Southern Copper's (SPC.LM) (PCU.N) Cuajone mine in Peru, company officer Alberto Giles told Reuters on Wednesday.
The strike started on Tuesday at the mine. The Cuajone mine of Southern Copper, Peru's biggest copper producer, churned out 148,936 tonnes of the red metal last year. (Reporting by Marco Aquino; Writing by Terry Wade; Editing by John Picinich)
