Mexican retailer Walmex pays $0.06 dividend

MEXICO CITY, April 18 (Reuters) - Wal-Mart de Mexico (WALMEXV.MX), Mexico's leading retailer, said on Friday it paid a dividend of 0.59 pesos ($0.06) a share to investors in cash and stock.

The company will pay a total of 3.2 billion pesos and hand over 37,228,737 new shares. Following the transaction, the company will have 8,489,530,523 shares in circulation. (Reporting by Armando Tovar; Editing by Andre Grenon)
