Vale says not in acquisition, financing talks

NEW YORK, June 19 (Reuters) - Brazil's Vale (VALE5.SA) RIO.N, the world's largest iron ore miner, said in an e-mail that it is not in acquisition talks with any company and is not discussing acquisition financing with banks.

It was responding to a Brazilian press report that the mining giant was lining up banks to build a line of credit for a future acquisition. (Reporting by Carole Vaporean)
